Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers to how we work, what we produce, and how we support brands across print, packaging, data, mail, fulfilment and signage.

Frequently asked questions

Can you handle the whole job, or just the printing?

Both. Westman Printing produces across print, wide format, signage, packaging, data and mail, then handles finishing, fulfilment and national distribution from the same operation. For most clients the real value is not any single service, it is having one partner own the job end to end instead of coordinating five suppliers themselves.

Right now our print, mail, signage and fulfilment are all with different suppliers. Is that something you can take over?

Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons clients come to us. With one partner across production, data, mailing and fulfilment, there is a single point of accountability, less version-control risk across sites, and no gaps between suppliers where jobs stall. Tell us what you run today and we will show you what consolidating it looks like.

We have sites all over the country. Can you get material to each of them?

Yes. We produce and distribute to store, branch, campus and site level nationally, and we can hold your stock so the right material reaches the right location on time. It is core to how we work with retail, financial services, aged care and franchise networks.

How do you keep our data secure?

Data security is built into how we produce, not bolted on afterwards. Westman Printing operates under ISO 27001 for information security and PCI DSS for payment data, so regulated and sensitive customer data is handled to standards your risk and compliance teams can verify.

Can you set up online ordering for our team or franchisees?

Yes. We build branded ordering portals so teams across multiple locations can order approved collateral on demand, with brand and template control kept central. It cuts out the back-and-forth and keeps every site on brand.

Do you only work with big corporate clients?

No. We work with large national brands, but the same production, data and fulfilment capability works just as well for a single-site business, a local campaign or a one-off run. The setup scales to the job, so you get the same quality and accountability whether you are printing for one location or five hundred.

What are your minimum order quantities?

MOQs vary by product. Digital printing starts from 50 units for short runs and personalisation. Offset printing starts from 500 units where volume economics come in. Packaging starts from 500 units. Promotional items start from 100 units. For anything specialty (foil, spot UV, unusual substrates), MOQ depends on the setup. Contact us and we will confirm the MOQ for your specific brief.

What is your typical turnaround time?

Standard turnaround is 5 to 10 business days from artwork approval, depending on process, volume and finishing. Rush turnarounds are available for urgent work. Delivery time is separate and depends on quantity and destination. We confirm firm timelines at the point of proof, and we hold to them.

What file formats do you accept and how should artwork be supplied?

We accept print-ready PDF, AI, PSD, EPS and TIFF files. For best results, supply print-ready PDFs with 3mm bleed, crop marks and fonts embedded or outlined. Our prepress team runs preflight checks on every file before production and flags anything that will not print correctly, so nothing lands wrong at press.

Do you offer design services?

Yes. Our in-house design and prepress team creates artwork from scratch or adapts your existing files for print. Variable-data setup, personalisation logic, packaging structural design and finishing artwork are all handled in-house. Design fees are quoted separately based on project scope.

What certifications does Westman Printing hold?

Westman Printing holds four core certifications:

  • ISO 9001 for quality management
  • ISO 27001 for information security
  • HACCP for food safety on food-contact packaging
  • PCI DSS for payment card data handling

We are also one of only seven Australia Post Accredited Data Partners nationally, and an Australia Post Bulk Mail Partner.
